Do You Feel Like You are Carrying Around a Lopsided Bowling Ball

February 19, 2014

Let’s suppose you carried around a bowling ball for an entire day, but instead of carrying it closely to your body you held it off to the side and a bit away from you. You’d most certainly get very tired… very fast! Now let’s say your head was a little off center. You would start to suffer from fatigue, due to the amount of stress placed on your spine.

Your neck is packed with all kinds of things: Bones (vertebrae), your spinal cord, both cranial and spinal nerves, blood vessels, glands (thyroid), voice box (larynx), esophagus (food pipe), trachea (windpipe), muscles, ligaments, tendons, and more. Your amazing neck balances your heavy head and turns, tilts, nods, shakes, all without damaging these vital body parts.

Your neck is subject to much stress throughout your life. It’s our role, as chiropractors, to locate and correct problems to the neck and spine. We are trained to restore proper movement to your spinal column, permitting greater energy, information, and nutrients to flow over your nerves and tissues and throughout your entire body. When problems are corrected in your spine, your body immediately starts to rebalance. With that, comes more energy and less fatigue. Could you use more energy? If so, give us a call, (330) 928-3420.
